SELAH - To pause and ponder an action or that which has been spoken.
going from Saint Patric to Saint to SELAH with SAiNT was growth.
Selah was a word I embraced and added to my moniker after repeatedly reading the book of Psalms. (That’s where most of my concepts/poems originate from.) SELAH is defined biblically as to pause and calmly think of that (Amplified Edition).
One night after a performance, a young god walked up to me and told me that while listening to one of my pieces (poems), he considered and reflected about a lot of personal things in his life. The first word that crossed my mind as he was speaking was SELAH.
Being gifted with the ability to make others reflect and consider their souls through poetic utterance.
In the Summer of 2017 I begin producing a series of productions titled SELAH with SAiNT.
Inspired by King David and the way he would poetically express his soul, his sin and his personal sentiments.
The reactions and responses from those productions was pure.
The SELAH moments were soul searching.
The whole experience was priceless!
How to SELAH.
1. Pause
(Stop. Wait. Cease.)
2. Breathe
(Inhale. Exhale. Simple.)
3. Examine
(Consider. Explore. Evaluate.)
4. Think
(Deem. Believe. Conclude.)
